IR Web Sites – Striving to Balance Richness with Ease of Use
NIRI recently conducted a review of the IR Web sites of the 100 largest publicly traded companies in order to derive a set of common and leading edge practices in online disclosure and investor service.
This is one of the smaller changes to Google – at least if measured in pixels! Google changed their “Favicon.ico”, the 16×16 image file that usually shows in the browser address bar or in bookmarks.
”Is Google undergoing a rebranding exercise…?” and adds, “Maybe they’re going to be known as ‘the little g’ rather than ‘The Big G’ from now on…”

Maybe they have to be crazy.
How else can you stare at an empty canvas and see a work of art?
Or sit in silence and hear a song that’s never been written?
Or gaze at a red planet and see a laboratory on wheels?
We make tools for these kinds of people.
While some see them as the crazy ones,
we see genius.
Because the people who are crazy enough to think
they can change the world, are the ones who do.
